Theatrical performance and specialisation work:
Cosí fan tutte by W.A. Mozart.
Organized by Camerata Sant Cugat, with the support of the Sant Cugat Council, the City School of Music Victòria dels Àngels, and the special collaboration of the Clarós Foundation, the Jaume Aragall Foundation, the Catalan Federation of Choirs FCEC, Europa Cantat, and the Pension Fund "La Caixa".
The course is designed for singing students and professional voice users. The program is offered at two levels: training and advanced. The course is based on activities oriented for active students, in which listener students will be allowed to participate. Open lectures and two final concerts will be programmed.
For choir conductors and singers a special workshop will be held. The workshop will consist of a one-hour daily program based on group sessions of breathing, body expression, vocal technique and Dynamic Intonation Technique.
As a complement of the singing classes, individual Alexander Technique classes and group sessions of movement will be offered.

Prepayment: 140 € active students, 30 € listener students (please send receipt with application form). The rest must be sent once the place has been confirmed and before June the 28th.

Place confirmation
Active students: Registration to the course will be carried out by order of reception of the application form and pre-payment receipt. Places will be confirmed as students are registered.
In order to ensure the best profit of the course for the students, the organizers may decide to reassign a student to a different level, according to the auditions that will be held at the beginning of the course.
If an application form and prepayment is received within the deadline but there are no vacancies, the student will receive the money back or he will be able to enroll at the training level if there are still vacancies. Alternatively, in all cases, students can attend the course as listeners.
Listeners: They must fill-in and send the application form and the prepayment receipt. As the applications arrive, the registrations will be made and the students will receive a confirmation of the enrolment. The students who register as listeners can attend the master classes, individual classes, concerts and lectures and take part in the group classes. All the participants will obtain a certificate of attendance.
Camerata Sant Cugat Singing Award
The students who are selected to perform at the final concert will be eligible for the award. The winner will be selected, among the performing students, according to the veredict of a jury formed by Mirna Lacambra, Sílvia Gasset, Marcel Gorgori, Pedro Clarós, Fernando Sans Riviere, Mireia Casas and the team of teachers.

Curriculum of the teaching team
CARMEN BUSTAMANTE
Soprano
Carmen Bustamante studied music at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu, in Barcelona. At the end she obtained the Graduation Prize Santa Cecília unanimously.
As an opera singer she has developed her professional career for over thirty years in many different countries. She has cultivated her repertoire on the opera stage, in recitals and oratories.
Spanish composers such as R. Alis, A. Blanquer, B. Casablancas, R. Ferrer, M. García Morante, E. Halff, F. Mompou, X. Montsalvatge, F. Moreno Torroba, J. Nin Culmell, J. Sabates, M. Salvador, J. Soler, X. Turull, M. Valls, entrusted her the Premières of their works.
Carmen Bustamante's pedagogical aspects are linked to the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, being Academic Director of the School of Singing, Artistic Director of the project "Opera at the University" as well as Professor. She has also been Visiting Professor at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands. Carmen Bustamante has an interesting discography that includes early music, opera and recitals. She has been awarded "L'Orphée d'Or" given annually by “L’Académie Nationale du Disque Lyrique de France”, the “National Award Disc of the year 1988” given by the Ministry of Culture. In 1992 she was also awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi of the “Generalitat de Catalunya”.
FRANCESCA ROIG
Mezzosoprano
Francesca Roig was born in Barcelona, where she studied music and singing, further improving with Gino Becchi, Paul Schillawsky and Peter Harrison.
In the season 1979-80 she made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona with Rigoletto and La Traviata, and from then on she was regularly invited to take part in this theatre’s program, where she performed in Elektra, La Fiamma, Dame de Pique, Lohengrin, Manon Lescaut, and La Vierge de Jules Massenet was highly praised. At the Palau de la Música she also performed Mary Magdalene together with Montserrat Caballé under the Maestro José Collado’s direction. Back in the Liceu, she takes part at the premiere in Spain of the opera Sly Wolf Ferrari, along with Jose Carreras and conducted by Maestro David Giménez. She also performed at Die Frau ohne Schatten by Richard Strauss under the baton of Peter Schneider. She has participated in many opera seasons at different Spanish cities. In 1988 she made her debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela (Madrid) with the Rossini's opera Ermione, together with Montserrat Caballé and Chris Merritt. This performance was followed by other titles such as Adriana Lecouvreur, Suor Angelica, Dame de Pique, Il Trovatore, La Traviata, Lucia de Lammermour, etc. In 1992 Francesca Roig sang Die Walküre and Adriana Lecouvreur at Bilbao, this last one with Mirella Freni and Jaume Aragall From then on her performances follow one another in Oviedo, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Madrid or Auditorio de Galicia (Cavalleria Rusticana with Elena Obratsowa). In 1996 she made her debut at the International Festival of Peralada with Verdi's Traviata, along with Ainhoa Arteta and Carlos Alvarez, stage direction by Maestro Iturri and musical direction by M. Marco Armiliato. She returned to this festival in 2001, singing Puccini's Gianni Schichi with Joan Pons, musical direction by Maestro Miguel Angel Gómez Martínez. Francesca Roig often combines opera recitals, concerts and oratorios, such as Rossini’s Stabat Mater (Teatro Arriaga, Bilbao), St. Matthew Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach (Palacio de Festivales, Santander), Die Letzte Worte by Joseph Haydn (Teatro Falla, Cádiz) or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem (Auditorio, Zaragoza and Huesca). She has also participated in the International Symposium J. S. Bach in the 250th anniversary of his death, where she sang a selection of baroque works at the Auditorium of Barcelona. In the summer of 1997, she made her debut at the Edinburgh International Festival with the zarzuela La Verbena de la Paloma by Tomas Breton.
She has been led by maestros as important as Alberto Zedda, Romano Gandolfi, Marco Armiliato, Miquel Ortega, Antoni Ros-Marbà, Theo Alcántara, Mark Ermler, etc. And stage directors of the stature of Núria Espert, Emilio Sagi, Lluís Pasqual, Jaques Defla, Michael Hampe, Hans Hollman, Mario Gas, Calixto Bieito, Andreas Homoki, etc. Since 1997, she has an important role as a voice teacher, vocal technique and breathing. She teaches Master Classes in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville etc.), Italy (Rome, Reggio Calabria) and France (Nantes). She has also taken part as a juror in several singing competitions, (Manuel Ausensi, Francesco Cilea, etc.) She is co-founder of the International Course Camerata Sant Cugat (Barcelona) since 2004.
Among her recent performances as a singer, in July 2009 she gave her support to the José Carreras Foundation for his fight against Leukaemia at the Auditorium of Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona), as well as to the Clarós Foundation at the Monastery of Pedralbes (Barcelona) in December 2009.
ROSA MARIA CONESA I PINTO
Soprano
Rosa Maria Conesa was born in Barcelona, where she studied music and singing at the Conservatory of Music in this town, obtaining the Superior Singing Grade Honour Award. She also obtained the Mercedes Viñas (1982) and Maria Vilardell Award (1984) in the Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition and the Musical Spanish Youth Permanent Competition for Young Interpreters (1983), Yamaha Competition (1984) and third prize in the National Competition Eugenio Marco (1986).
Among the many orchestras in which she has sung we can mention the RTVE Orchestra, the New American Chamber Orchestra, Gran Teatre del Liceu, the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, Euskadi Orchestra, Valles Orchestra and Ciudad de Palma Orchestra with the premiere of the opera El bon senyor Karnak by Karl Mansker, followed by the Barcelona OCB Orchestra and the Stichting Limburgs Symphonie Orkest, those two last formations in concert tours in Germany and Holland. She has been led by highly respected Maestros as Antoni Ros Marbà, Salvador Mas, Salvador Brotons, Miguel Ortega, Franz Paul Decker, Roberto Abbado, Uwe Mund, Romano Gandolfi, Edmon Colomer, David Robertson and Peter Schneider among others. She has performed at numerous festivals in Spain such as Merida, Peralada, Tenerife or Deia; and abroad in Il Luglio Musicale Trapanese (Sicily) or Les Soirées Borely (Marseille) as well as major national and international theatres. In the opera cycle “Opera de Catalunya”, she has played the roles of "Gilda" in Rigoletto and "Micaela" in Carmen. Among many performances at the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona, we can mention her participation in the Te Deum by M.A. Charpentier, L. Jenufa by Janacek, Die Walküre by Wagner, Tchaikovsky’s Dame de Pique, and in the season 1992-93 Bizet's Carmen directed by Núria Espert and Verdi’s Traviata in the season 2001-02. She has also made several recordings.
Rosa Maria Conesa currently teaches at the school Artmusic Canto in Barcelona, linked to the Conservatorio del Liceu. Since 2005 she teaches vocal technique in the International Singing Course Camerata Sant Cugat.
ANNA Ma OLLET I SOTOCA
Soprano
Born in Reus. She is graduated in psychology at the “Universitat de Barcelona”. Graduated with honours in vocal high degree at the Conservatori del Liceu, Barcelona. Participated in a production of the Opera School of Sabadell, through the Eugenio Marco competition. She has been selected for taking part at the Akademi Koncerts at the “Universität Mozarteum” at Salzburg.
She has performed at various recitals and concerts. Some of her more significant performances were given in the following concerts: Gran Teatre del Liceu; Auditori Illa Diagonal; Auditori Josep Carreras; Caja Madrid; for Juventuts Musicals in Sitges and Tarragona; Centre Cultural Riera Blanca; Teatre Fortuny; Teatro García-Barbón, at Vigo; among others.
She has performed in several productions, like festivals in Perelada and Sagunto in Spain (as soloist in the Street Chorus of Berstein´s Mass in 2000 and the role of Teresa in Marina in 2002); in the festival in Santiago de Compostela in Spain (Role of Alba in Atzar); in the Teatre Principal de Sabadell, and in the Teatre Zorrilla, Spain (Traviata, role of Annina) and L’Auditori Clarós in the Principality of Andorra (role of Hauptdarstellerin in Die Zauberflöte); in the Auditori Municipal at Terrassa (role of Amore in Orfeo ed Euridice)
Since October 2003 she is main teacher of chant at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu; and, since 2005, Actually, she is chief of Middle Degree Department. She is also teaching at the Choral School of the Palau de la Música Catalana. During the 2009-2010 season she has been teaching at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya-ESMUC.
LLUÍS PARERA
Actor
Lluís Parera obtained his Bachelor in Dramatic Arts by the Institut del Teatre de la Diputació de Barcelona and he has worked in many plays as Els actors de bona fe, directed by Jaume Melendres, Leonard Bernstein's Candide, directed by Josep Maria Mestres, or Pentagrama o Esperma, directed by Carles Santos.
In his career he has also developed an special interest in performing for an all age audience, such as in the shows L'arbre Mil·lenari or Igrígor o la terra s'escalfa For two consecutive years he has participated as stage manager on a Singing Stage directed by Francesca Roig in Nantes, France. Recently he has directed the following theatrical productions: ...O simplement amor! Agnès Cortes’ La imatge fragmentada or Pecats by Carles Armengol.
